Andrew Lloyd Webber is heartbroken after his son, Nicholas "Nick" Webber, died a few weeks ago. More recently, an essay by the legendary composer was published where he recalled his final moments with his kid before he tragically passed away.

According to Page Six, the essay was reportedly written "just days" after Nick's death on March 25. It was published via The New York Times and the musician detailed how he spent time with his son a day before he died.

Andrew said he and Nick were speaking in P.G. Wodehouse quotes and laughing with each other.

"'Here's one for you,' said Nick, laughing. He had surmised that, after bulletins from New York, his father, as Wodehouse might have put it, was less than gruntled," he wrote. (via Page Six)

He then noted that his son died the following day after their touching encounter, adding, "Nothing's worse for a parent than the death of a child."
