Every time Nick Cannon announces that he's expecting a new baby, online users have been calling him out to do something to prevent having more kids in the future. However, he recently revealed in an interview that he still gets women pregnant despite practicing birth control; what could be the reason?
The rapper/TV host, who is now a father of 12 kids, recently dropped by the "Howie Mandel Does Stuff" podcast where he revealed that his previous partners still got pregnant despite undergoing measures to prevent it and the reason why was because of his "super sperm."
"I'm gonna be honest, I got some super sperm or something 'cause I've practiced birth control, and people still got pregnant," he told the "America's Got Talent" judge. (via Billboard)
It appears that the musician is learning his lesson already as he's trying to be "as responsible" as he possibly could.
Does Birth Control Reduce the Risk of Pregnancy?
Nick Cannon defended himself in the interview that the practices to prevent having a baby are not effective all the time.

Although birth control reduces the risk of pregnancy, it's not always guaranteed to be effective. Planned Parenthood reported that 99% of contraceptives are 99% effective if it's being taken properly on a daily basis.

Later in the conversation, the rapper gushed over his oldest children he shares with ex-wife Mariah Carey, twins Monroe, and Moroccan.
He noted that it's his first time having 12-year-old kids and he has a set of them. Since his older kids are close to entering teenagehood, the TV host said they're already having real conversations.
One of the main topics they discuss is their parents because their mother, Mariah Carey, is one of the most renowned musicians in the world, and their dad is a television host.
"They're so intelligent, they're so in tune with their own values," he added.
Aside from the twins above, Nick Cannon also has three children with Brittany Bell named Golden Sagon, Powerful Queen, and Rise Messiah; with LaNisha Cole named Onyx Ice; with Abby De La Rosa named twins Zillion Heir and Zion Mixolydian, and Zeppelin.
In addition, he also has two kids with Alyssa Scott named Halo Marie and Zen (the latter tragically passed away at a young age due to a malignant brain tumor).
