Weeks ago, rumors that Jamie Foxx had been hospitalized circulated on social media after an undisclosed medical emergency took place. Shortly after, the trip to the emergency room was confirmed by his daughter.
Since then, the fans of the actor-musician have been waiting patiently for an update about his health. Nick Cannon, one of Jamie Foxx's dear friends, asked the public for prayers for her father - which got fans thinking, what is the update on Jamie Foxx's health?
Jamie Foxx Health Update
In a conversation with Entertainment Tonight, "The Masked Singer" host Nick Cannon revealed a rather significant update about Jamie Foxx's health.
"Man, I'm praying," he told ET's Kevin Frazier in an interview. "You see, I posted on Instagram. I literally have been saying prayers out loud."
In the past few days, Cannon said that his social media has been full of words of affirmation for his big brother.
"I know he's doing so much better because I'm actually about to do something special for him and doing him a favor," he added.
Although he could not say what favor he was up to, he affirmed that it would be out sooner or later.
According to Cannon, Foxx was already "alert," as per his last information. As of this writing, Foxx's "medical complication" has not been explained, but it was assured by his family that he had received quick action and great care from the doctors and is already on his way to recovery.

It was even speculated that Foxx, at one point, was unconscious, as a TMZ source revealed that he could "now communicate," meaning he was unable to at a period of time. AllHipHop described Cannon to be "praying profusely" for Foxx's recovery.
"Let's all speak complete and total recovery for the most talented human on earth with a Spirit bigger than this small planet!!" Cannon posted on Instagram.
Jamie Foxx Received Well-Wishers, Support from Celebrities
Echoing Cannon's update, Martin Lawrence also shared a valuable update on Jamie Foxx's health condition.
In an interview with the newly-minted Hollywood Walk of Fame star, Lawrence said that Foxx was already doing better too. However, he still wishes and prays for his speedy recovery.
Steve Harvey has also expressed support and wished him recovery from his undisclosed health ordeal. Tracy Morgan also offered prayers.
Meanwhile, sources say that Foxx was in Atlanta shooting a film with Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close.
