Sam Smith is currently on the road for their highly anticipated "Gloria" tour. It has been five years since their last, and everyone wants to immerse themselves into Smith's world of scandalous madness and art.

The singer, born Samuel Frederick Smith, rose to prominence following the release of the breakthrough single "Latch."

The world fell in love with the sheer vocal prowess Smith possesses, as well as the fanfare and theatrics that come with it.

Over a decade since their rise to fame, how well is the singer doing in terms of net worth and music career?

Net Worth

Smith took their time releasing "In the Lonely Hour," their debut studio album which was dropped in 2014.

"In the Lonely Hour" produced the hit singles "Money on My Mind" and "Stay With Me," which were both considered the songs that dominated music charts all over the world.

Since then, Smith has gone nowhere but up.

Apparently, that is not only applicable to their music career, but their net worth as well.

According to reports, the "Like I Can" singer boasts an estimated net worth of $45 million, and it has been climbing steadily since 2012, with each new album release.

Following their debut album, Smith dropped "The Thrill of It All" in 2017 which sold over 12 million copies worldwide.

This album produced some of Smith's greatest hits like "Too Good at Goodbyes" "One Last Song," "Pray," and "Baby You Make Me Crazy."

In 2020, they dropped "Love Goes," which was delayed because of the pandemic, it included the singles "My Oasis," "Diamonds," and "Kids Again."

The newest addition to Smith's discography is "Gloria," which was released earlier this year. It produced four singles, the controversial "Unholy," "Love Me More," "I'm Not Here to Make Friends," and "Gimme."

This is probably why the "Gloria" tour is massively successful, and highly anticipated among fans.

According to reports, though, Smith and his team have encountered a small hiccup along the way.

The singer announced that their Birmingham show will be postponed following a sudden illness.
