Kelly Clarkson just cemented her throne as the Queen of Daytime as she earned all talk show series with 11 whopping Daytime Emmy nominations! The nominations came weeks after she released her latest singles from the upcoming new album, "Chemistry."
Clarkson has been on a streak for two consecutive years, and it seems like she has no plans on retiring from that podium finish yet!
Kelly Clarkson Daytime Emmy Nominations
According to the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Clarkson led the 50th annual Daytime Emmy Awards nominees in the talk show categories. (via Deadline)
Clarkson and her show have been nominated for 11 awards this year.
"The Kelly Clarkson Show" is nominated for Best Daytime Talk Series, Outstanding Music Direction and Composition, Writing Team for a Daytime Non-Fiction Program, Directing Team for a Multiple Camera Daytime Non-Fiction Program, and Outstanding Music Direction and Composition.
The show also earned a nomination for Lighting Direction, Technical Direction, Multiple Camera Editing, Live Sound Mixing, Art Direction, and Hairstyling & Makeup.
Newcomers like "The Jennifer Hudson Show" and "The Drew Barrymore Show" also performed brilliantly at the nominations with six and seven nominations each.
Barrymore and Clarkson are also going head to head on the Daytime Talk Show Host award category, which the latter won for three consecutive years already.
Meanwhile, "General Hospital" led the entire Daytime Emmys with 19 nominations, including Daytime Drama Series. (via Billboard)
Selena Gomez also earned her third Emmy nomination as her show "Selena and Chef" has been nominated for Outstanding Culinary Series. She is an executive producer of the show. Zac Efron also got his first Emmy nod as a daytime program host for "Down to Earth With Zac Efron" - the show was also nominated for Outstanding Travel, Adventure, and Nature program.
Clarkson already has five Daytime Emmys on her belt, all attributed to her show "The Kelly Clarkson Show."

Kelly Clarkson New Album' Chemistry'
In an excellent feat, Clarkson amassed all those nominations while she was working on her newest album, "Chemistry."
She already released the lead singles of her album, "Mine" and "Me," which was co-written by Grammy-nominated singer GAYLE.
Interestingly, the album articulates the feelings that Clarkson has gone through on her divorce from her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, a topic she had candidly discussed on "The Kelly Clarkson Show" numerous times already.
