Dreams really do come true! This is because longtime Barb, Kim Petras, could not believe that she just released her first collaboration with her idol, Nicki Minaj, in an adrenaline-inducing party anthem, "Alone."

She wasn't definitely "Alone," in the track, as the Kim Petras and Nicki Minaj collaboration has been well received by many. In promoting the music on social media, Petras hopped in on Nicki Minaj's "Queen Radio" and talked about the song.

Nicki Minaj, Kim Petras' Alone' on 'Queen Radio'

Nicki Minaj invited her recent collaborator, Kim Petras, on her radio show "Queen Radio" on AMP.

In the candid and honest interview, Petras was asked how she soaked in all the success she has been receiving right now - highlighting if she was prepared enough to do it.

As for Petras, she spent "so many years" being a writer first before delving into the recording industry.

"When I was a kid in Germany, how I got my first pub[lishing] deal was by writing jingles. I wrote a laundry detergent jingle in German, and then when I moved here, it was kind of like living on studio couches and writing songs every single day and just knocking on doors trying to get into studios," she confessed.

She also mentioned that it had been more than ten years in the making, but ever since back then, she had hoped to get a Nicki Minaj song in her music career.

On many occasions, Petras has publicly confessed to being a Barb, a fan of Nicki Minaj, and professing her love for the Queen of Rap.

"That's about the biggest thing in the world that could ever happen to anyone, so thank you so much for that," she told Minaj.

Kim Petras on Apple Music with Zane Lowe

Petras is still on cloud nine, basking on the fact that she got Minaj on a feature of her song. Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music, she described Nicki Minaj as the "greatest ever."

"It doesn't feel real still," she continued. "I love her and I'm so inspired by her always, it's crazy to me."

The Grammy-winning singer also noted how the intro of the song - "It's Barbie and it's Kim Petras" - left her bawling on the floor, wondering how ingenious the lyric was and the whole collaboration in general.

The song is expected to debut somewhere in the Top 10 and be sent to the radio for airplay.
