Long before she was born, the songwriter's father, Alison Owen, has been a known name in the industry as he is an actor and a famed film producer.

The singer has been working in the industry since she was a kid as she started her acting gig at the age of three in "The Comic Strip Presents..." during the episode "The Yob," which was co-written by her dad.

Lily Allen ADHD Diagnosis

Earlier this year, Lily Allen got candid about her mental health struggles as she recently revealed in an interview that she was diagnosed with ADHD.

Speaking to The Times, the singer said she was diagnosed while living in the United States. Her current mental health diagnosis also led her to take a break from social media.

"As soon as I look at it, it can be hours of my day gone," she said. (via NME)

Despite being diagnosed just recently, the "5 O'Clock" singer said it's not surprising to have ADHD as it "sort of runs" in her family.
