New information on Jamie Foxx's health came out recently, with the actor being taken to a hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, on April 11th.
The news that Jamie Foxx, known for hosting FOX's insanely popular show "Beat Shazam," will not be appearing in the show's upcoming season came out last Friday.
A source confirmed to People magazine that Jamie is "awake and alert" at a medical facility in Georgia.
Sources close to him told CNN that they were performing tests to determine the cause of his condition, while Nick Cannon appeared in an interview last month and said he was doing much better.
After being admitted to the hospital during the filming of his upcoming Netflix movie "Back in Action" with Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close, doctors have been running tests on him, but thankfully, the "Day Shift" star is said to be awake and alert and continuing to be monitored by medical staff.
