Pink is known to have been known to have a strong personality, may it be in her music, her own personality, and even her outlook in life. Thankfully, her husband, Carey Hart, had been very understanding, despite sometimes being the subject of her songs.

Hart and Pink have been married for 17 years already, and although their marriage and relationship have hit some bumps and suffered some cracks, the couple has remained strong for their two kids.

Pink Husband The Subject of Her Own Song Lyrics?

Gracing his presence at "The Kelly Clarkson Show," Hart finally reacted on the subject of him becoming a topic for Pink's songs.

In one of the previous episodes of the show, Pink and Clarkson talked about how Carey became the topic of one of her songs on her newest album, "Trustfall." Describing how the inspiration for the song came about, Pink drew it from a "hard day" that she had with her husband.

Turns out, the song she was referring to was "Hate Me." In a conversation with USA Today, Pink expounded on the song and what it meant.

"'Hate Me' is sort of the female experience to me. This will be a polarizing statement, but men tend to villainize women and it's usually the women who take care of them and take most of their (crap)," she revealed to the outlet.

According to her, she felt that way with his father and her husband. Elaborating more, Pink insisted that she would not be the villain in the story, nor would he be in hers.

Carey Hart Reacts To Pink's 'Hate Me'

Speaking to Clarkson about when she played the song to her husband, Pink recalled Hart giggling and saying "You're Welcome" cheekily after.

Hart confirmed that it was actually his exact reaction upon hearing the song.

"We've been together 21 years. I have very thick skin. Very little affects me. I don't know what day she's talking about specifically, but it's probably just the temperature," he told Clarkson.
