Slipknot percussionist Clown shared how the band would change how it conducts its shows in the future.

Slipknot has a full-packed schedule this year as it was tapped to perform in several festivals and shows. The band is also set to make an appearance at the Welcome to Rockville 2023 from May 18 to 21 before it graces the stages of other shows like Nova Rock 2023 and Greenfield Festival 2023.

Amid its busy schedule, the band's percussionist revealed how they would have some changes with regard to their touring.

Slipknot To Change The Way They Tour

Clown revealed the details of Slipknot's touring plans in an interview with Kerrang for its summer print issue, saying that the band's touring would change in the future.

The percussionist said Slipknot's touring schedule might not be the same, but the band plans to offer new and interesting "alternatives" for fans.

"The only god we've ever known is to get on the road, play our music and tour," he says. "I always wanted that salvation in my day. Growing up in an alcoholic family, music was the gift that helped me get out."

He also told the outlet that Slipknot could not push the way it used to and that it would not be able to keep up. Still, it does not plan on reducing its shows.

Instead, Slipknot might reportedly perform in smaller venues more frequently. Clown expressed his excitement to perform for seven days anywhere at small venues to play its whole album, including the songs the band is yet to play live.

Slipknot Only Played THIS Song Once

With Slipknot's plans, the band might be able to play the songs it has not played in its shows. It would also allow them to perform several tracks more frequently than before.

One example is the title track of its 2008 album, "All Hope Is Gone," which it only performed once on July 9, 2008, during the Mayhem Festival's stop at the White River Amphitheater in Auburn, Washington.

At that time, Slipknot headlined the event alongside Disturbed, Machine Head, Mastodon, and DragonForce, among others. The band included the track in its 11-song set, but it no longer performed it the next night.

According to the setlist.fm, Slipknot presented 13 tracks after the first night but removed the title track. The songs included:

1. "Surfacing"

2. "The Blister Exists"

3. "Get This"

4. "Spit It Out"

5. "Before I Forget"

6. "Disasterpiece"

7. "Psychosocial"

8. "The Heretic Anthem"

9. "Prosthetics"

10. "Duality"

11. "All Hope Is Gone"

12. "People = Shit"

13. "(sic)"
