It's been weeks since the rumors about Taylor Swift and Matty Healy's relationship made rounds on the internet and many have been wondering what her ex, Joe Alwyn thinks about the situation.

More recently, sources claim that the actor felt "slighted" and "distraught" over the new romance; what happened?

An insider spoke with Daily Mail UK, claiming that Alwyn is upset with the matter as he trusted his ex-girlfriend when she told him that she was working with The 1975 vocalist and they were just "friends."

The pair reportedly worked on the album "Midnights," but their collaborative track never made it to the final tracklist.

"Joe was aware that Taylor and Matt were making music together and collaborating. She told him that they had become friends and he trusted her," the source added.

Taylor Swift Updates

The recent news comes after Taylor Swift and Matty Healy were spotted holding hands at a private club in New York City.

The couple was reportedly joined by Jack Antonoff, the record producer who is said to be the one who re-introduced the two to each other as he worked on both albums of both musicians.

Photos immediately went viral and the Casa Cipriani management immediately took action by revoking the membership of those who secretly took snaps of the pair.

The $4,000 a year exclusive club has a strict no-phone policy at their location.

"At least three members got kicked out for taking pictures of Taylor... There is a no-picture policy. Their membership was revoked," a source said.

Regarding the pop star's tour, her next show would be at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA, on May 19 and 20, 2023, featuring special guests Phoebe Bridgers and GAYLE.
