After two weeks of domination from compilation albums, an individual performer has risen to take the top spot on the Billboard 200. Wiz Khalifa and his newest album, Blacc Hollywood, took the prize with 90,000 copies sold. It's the performer's first time topping the chart.

Compilations weren't out of the picture by any means however. In fact, four maintained a presence in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 this week. At the top of the category was Awesome Mix Vol. 1 from The Guardians of The Galaxy, which had held the top spot for the previous two weeks. The set settled at no. 2 this week with 64,000 copies sold. Now 51 moves down to no. 4 with 33,000 units moved, and the Frozen soundtrack fell to no. 6 by selling 29,000. There was one new compilation in the Top 10 this week, as Nashville Outlaws: A Tribute to Motley Crue featured a slew of popular country performers covering the best of the best of hair metal. That collection sold 31,000 copies during its first week and took the no. 5 spot.

An actual country performer took the spot in between however. Chase Rice and Ignite The Night moved enough copies (44,000) to be no. 3 this week.

Sam Smith celebrates his tenth consecutive week being in the Top 10 as In The Lonely Hour sold just more than 24,000 copies and stayed at no. 7 for another week. 5 Seconds of Summer is only halfway to Smith's length of stay, but its self-titled album is okay in its fifth week. It sold 24,000 copies this week and took the no. 8 spot.

Ace Frehley has seen a resurgence in popularity, perhaps thanks to KISS's recent induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His newest solo output Space Invader sold 19,000 copies and took the no. 9 spot, which is 18 spots higher than his last solo album came in at.

The final spot this week goes to Ed Sheeran, who's been out of the Top 10 for a while. Nonetheless, x sold 16,000 copies and will spend at least one more week on the chart.
