Tina Turner is a trailblazing figure in music and entertainment. From withstanding the domestic abuse she suffered early on in her life to breaking ceilings and barriers for women, Turner has led a life of honor and dignity.

Hailed as the Queen of Rock and Roll, Turner's voice has inspired a generation of singers and musicians, women specifically, that has been dominating the music industry for quite a while now.

However, it is tragic to think that at her final breath, she could barely utter her final goodbyes.

Did Tina Turner Lose Her Voice Before Death?

According to a Radar Online source, Tina Turner didn't have the energy nor the guts to speak on her deathbed.

"It was a terrible, tragic irony that was lost on one," the source revealed, saying that she "could barely whisper" her final words.

The cause of death of Tina Turner has not yet been revealed specifically, but reports say that it was attributed to her long battle with a string of health complications. This includes her intestinal cancer, high blood pressure, multiple strokes, and even kidney failure, among many others.

"This woman, who became a historic figure because of her strong voice, was forced to rasp out a meager whisper in saying her final farewells," the source further claimed.

Afida, Tina Turner's daughter-in-law, spoke to The Daily Mail and detailed that the singer spent her last "agonizing" years remembering her son Craig, who committed suicide, and how her son, Ronnie, could possibly turn like his father, Ike.

Now, the three of them together have passed.

Tina Turner's Death Shocked Her Family?

In Afida's recollection on The Daily Mail, she also revealed that the family was "shocked" over Tina Turner's death because, despite her being sick for too long, they thought that her resilience made them "think that she will live forever."

"She was ill for a long time, but she was extraordinarily strong, too," she told the outlet. "She was fighting for her life from 2017 until now. We knew how sick she was, but she was doing so well that this was not expected.'

For those who don't know, Afida was the surviving wife of Ronnie, who died at 72 due to complications of metastatic colon carcinoma in 2022. Meanwhile, his older brother, Craig, died of suicide at 59 in 2018.
