Things are reportedly over between Shawn Mendes and Camilla Cabello for good weeks after they sparked relationship rumors.

Mendes and Cabello's fans believed they reignited their romance in the past few weeks as they spotted them kissing at the Coachella festival in April. It marked their first intimate outing since they split in November 2021.

Shawn Mendes, Camilla Cabello Split Again?

Only six weeks after the romance rumors emerged, a source told The Scottish Sun that the couple broke up again - but this time, it is for good.

According to the unnamed source, Mendes and Cabello "tested the waters again" when they came back into each other's lives this year. However, what they had recently was reportedly just a fling, and they decided to end everything all at once.

"They realized it was probably a mistake to give things another shot. Things ended between them the first time for a reason, after all," the source added. "In reality, both of them know they aren't right for each other romantically and now they just want to move on."

The reporter also noted that Mendes and Camilla's reunion was so short-lived that they do not want to speak about it as they move on.

Shawn Mendes, Camilla Cabello's Relationship Timeline

Before starting their highly-publicized relationship, Mendes and Cabello started off as friends in 2014. At that time, the "Mercy" hitmaker and the former Fifth Harmony member opened for Austin Mahone's tour.

They soon marked their first collaboration in the 2017 "I Know What You Did Last Summer" until they sparked romance rumors following the release of the 2019 song, "Señorita." The ex-couple was spotted getting intimate in Miami and adopted a puppy while living together amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, things suddenly turned sour until they revealed in a joint statement that they decided to break up but assured fans that their "love for one another as humans is stronger than ever."

Since they are both musicians, Mendes and Cabello released songs that seemingly addressed their split, including his April 2022 track "When You're Gone." While they did not confirm their recent reunion and split, they have been expressing their desire to perform on one stage again.

On the other hand, Cabello sparked dating rumors with Los Club's founder, Austin Kevitch, in 2022.
