Taylor Swift's ongoing tour is sweeping off the nation and she will continue to break records and amaze fans in the coming months after announcing a set of new shows in South America.

If a fan of the pop star, dubbed Swiftie, attended the show, they are considered lucky, but there are some concertgoers who are far more fortunate to be receiving a surprising gift from the musician's father himself.

According to Classic 94.4 Rock Radio, the "Hits Different" hitmaker performed in Detroit for the Michigan stop of her "The Eras" tour, and a lucky attendee named Whitney got a once-in-a-lifetime experience, not just because of the concert but also because of her interaction with Scott Kingsley Swift, or what fans call him "Papa Swift."

At the time, the pop singer's dad was also around the VIP area and he was giving away guitar picks designed with his daughter's face on it.

"it was so cool! We were on the floor and he was handing them out; they were in the VIP TENT," she said.

The fan was over the moon for the special gift she received and she explained on her Facebook post that she would "be talking about this for the rest of my life."

Taylor Swift 'The Eras' Tour: Not the Only Lucky Fan

Although it's rare, there are a few other stories about lucky fans who experienced the unthinkable during the musician's concert.

Last month, a fan named Danielle Laurito first thought she would not be watching the tour as ticket prices were expensive and she couldn't afford them.

Fortunately, her best friend knows someone from the Gillette Stadium who has a food stall, and what they did was genius as they volunteered to sell food, leading them to gain access to the venue completely free.

She never thought she would see the musician at a close range, but they were happy to hear her while working and catching a glimpse from time to time.

Another perk they experienced was to witness supporting acts,  GAYLE and Phoebe Bridgers do soundchecks that no other concertgoer was able to see.

"We were able to watch Taylor come out, and alternated going back to the stand if we saw people coming to buy food. But, for the most part, we were able to watch most of the concert," she told Elite Daily.

In other updates, Taylor Swift's next show would be at the Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Friday, June 16, 2023.

Complete details regarding the pop star's concert is available on her official website.
