According to retired racer Mika Hakkinen, the professional race car driver changed his priorities in life - leading fans to assume that it was because of Shakira.

Toto Wolff recently revealed that the seven-time world champion would be signing a new Mercedes deal "soon," but Hakkinen told Unibet that the rumors about Hamilton joining Ferrari would be a surprise.
"I always say that when people get older, the order of your thoughts change," he said. "Your priorities in life change. Formula 1 just won't be the most important thing anymore."
Hakkinen's statement led fans to assume that Hamilton's focus is now on his love life and other aspects of life. Their opinion resonated with what a source told People after the rumored couple's public outings, saying that they are "fun and flirty" as they reached the early stages of dating.
Shakira and Hamilton were first spotted together after the 46-year-old "Hips Don't Lie" hitmaker attended the F1 Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona, Spain, and got cozy after the event.
Their dinner date was later captured in a photo posted on Instagram Story, showing the duo having fun with Daniel Caesar, Mustafa, and Fai Khadra.

Amid Hamilton and Shakira's dating rumors, the F1 racer also sparked romance buzz with Brazilian model Juliana Nalu as their photos on social media captured them cozying up.
The Scottish Sun UK shared the aforesaid social media posts that "accidentally" captured the duo's intimate moment. One set of screenshots showed Lewis staying in the hot tub with Nalu, while the other carousel of photos captured the same model in the background when Hamilton attended the Coachella.
