It appears that Shakira's ex-husband, Gerard Pique, and his current lover, Clara Chia, are getting serious with their relationship as sources recently revealed that the football star is set to get married soon.

According to Daily Mail UK, insiders close to the couple spoke to a Spanish outlet, claiming that the two are planning to get married within this month and their engagement would be made public later this month.

"Gerard Pique and Clara Chia are going to get married. The ex-footballer and his girlfriend have taken this very important decision," the source said.

The two are planning to announce the good news regarding their nuptials during a special occasion, which would be on his brother Marc's wedding on June 24.

As of this writing, neither of the couple has confirmed whether the ongoing rumors about their nuptials are accurate or not.

Shakira, Lewis Hamilton Relationship

On the other hand, it appears that Shakira is also moving on from her previous marriage as it was reported that the Latin superstar is getting serious with her relationship with rumored boyfriend Formula 1 racer Lewis Hamilton.

Earlier this month, a source told People Magazine that the pair are being "fun and flirty" with their romance.

Since they are reportedly dating for a few months now, the two are still getting to know each other by constantly being together.

Rumors began swirling when the "Hips Don't Lie" hitmaker was spotted watching the F1 Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona earlier this year where they got "cozy" following the race.

Shakira, Gerard Pique Relationship

According to the outlet, the couple first met while the singer was filming the music video for the song "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)" which was the track of the FIFA World Cup in 2010.

Initially, Shakira didn't know Pique but when she watched the video, he thought he was cute and then they were introduced to one another.

Regarding the footballer's reaction, he said he "got to the point where I told her we [The Spanish team] would have to get to the World Cup final to see her again - she was singing at the final."

Following this, they started dating and eventually had children of their own, but they were not married.
