Robbie Williams stopped his concert halfway through after he started experiencing health issues.

Williams performed and serenaded his fans with some of his hit songs at the Pinkpop music festival in the Netherlands Saturday. But mid-way through the concert, the singer suddenly asked his band to stop playing.

Why Did Robbie Williams Halt His Pinkpop Music Festival Performance?

Videos taken by concertgoers showed the 49-year-old former Take That frontman struggling as he prepared himself to sing his song, "Monsoon."

Before he was able to start his performance, he suddenly told the band to pause as he repeatedly said "stop" and "I'm f**ked."

"It's long COVID," he said, per Daily Mail. "I've got long Covid. It's not my f**king age, you f**kers."

Williams took a quick break before returning to the stage to restart the song and finishing the remaining 16-set performance. His health issue came after he was diagnosed with COVID-19 twice: the first was in April 2020 and the second was while he was on vacation in the Caribbean with his wife and their kids.

Previously, the singer opened up about his mental struggles amid isolation due to the health crisis. Years after, he finally got the chance to tour and perform again.

While he did not detail the symptoms of his long COVID, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says that the condition can indeed continue or develop after the initial COVID-19 infection. They also call it "post-COVID-19 syndrome."

One Direction Member Wants To Collaborate With Robbie Williams

Despite his health issues, Williams still captures musicians and fans' hearts with his voice that One Direction member Niall Horan recently expressed his desire to work with him.

On Saturday, Horan made an appearance at the Isle of Wight Festival before Blondie and Williams' performances. One fan said it would be great if he would be in one studio with the former Take That singer.

The One Direction member responded and called Williams a "great guy" who he has known for years, adding his desire to have a session with him.

"Blondie and Robbie Williams are playing after me - I mean it's insane!" he went on.

Although the potential collaboration is yet to be confirmed, Williams and Horan already performed together in 2010 when the "Rock DJ" singer joined One Direction and performed "She's The One" rendition at "The X Factor" finale.
