Sandara Park, a former member of 2NE1, will release her debut solo EP in July. Park's management company, Abyss Company, said that the release of her self-titled digital EP, SANDARA PARK, will take place on July 12 at 6:00 PM KST.
The announcement was accompanied by a teaser that gave fans a preview of the artistic direction of her solo project by revealing a park-themed visual idea. Park posted on social media in February to share her enthusiasm for creating her debut album as a solo artist.
She made light of her role in the creation of the record by hinting that the EP would have tracks from different genres. Her first music release since leaving YG Entertainment in 2021 is the solo EP.

The 38-year-old Sandara gained notoriety in the Philippines after placing second in the talent competition Star Circle Quest in 2004. Before deciding to pursue a career in South Korea, she then continued her acting career by participating in a number of film and television projects. As a member of 2NE1, Park made his YG Entertainment debut in 2009. The group later went on to create numerous successful singles, including "FIRE," "I DON'T CARE," and "I Am the Best." The collective broke up in November 2016.
While it's nice that Sandara Park is moving forward with the release of her solo album, people still mourn her group 2NE1. One of the highlights of Coachella was 2NE1's reunion, which is still being talked about on the internet by hundreds of fans. At Coachella 2022, legendary second-generation K-pop act 2NE1 gave the show's opening performance. The 2NE1 reunion also took K-pop fans down memory lane with members of the group surprising CL on stage as they sang the 2011 single I am the Best.
Other occasions saw the audience supporting the girl group as they performed the stirring I am the Best dance. Additionally, it is impossible to ignore Sandara Park's bizarre hairstyle. The quartet's final performance as a group took place at MAMA 2015, and since then, they haven't drawn attention at any public gatherings. As a result, the 2NE1 reunion at Coachella was a spectacular sight for the group's whole fan base.
