Alicia Keys is spending the coming summer on tour as she embarks on the "Keys To The Summer" tour. What sets this tour apart from her previous ones? Keys said that it's unlike everything she has ever done.

Whether she would bring her son Egypt on tour like P!nk, Keys also had a revelation everyone is waiting for.

Alicia Keys 'Keys To The Summer' Tour

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Keys revealed that her upcoming tour will be featuring an "expansive stage custom-made" for her shows. Describing her emotions to be "thrilled" and "excited," Keys starts her tour on Jun. 28, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and ends on Aug. 2, in Los Angeles, California.

"Honestly, the lights, the content, these big, huge screens and everything is just really artistic, beautiful, powerful and fun. Because [these are the] keys to the summer," she eloquently explained.

Aside from the elaborate technical stage, she also revealed that the stage was built to "amplify the singer's piano-driven tunes" - what that meant is left to our imaginations.

The "Keys To The Summer" Tour will be inclusive of a 360-degree stage, similar to Ed Sheeran's "Mathematics" Tour stage. Fans will feel "so immersed" in the concert experience as Keys confessed this tour's stage will be "more personal" and "visually special" to her.

"I was freaking out, I was screaming and I was like, 'It's better than I even thought,'" she said about the stage design. "There are some really special pieces. We're using a lot of lasers on this show which creates edges and lines that are very special and sculptural. And obviously, it's just a new way for me to perform. I'm figuring out now kind of how I utilize this perimeter and how I want to kind of work the room with it."

As for the setlist, Keys confessed that it has been "tricky" for her to assemble the perfect setlist. However, she revealed that she would be opening the show with a setlist no one would have expected.

"If you saw the Alicia + Keys World Tour, you have not seen anything like [what] you're gonna see [on] this Keys to the Summer Tour," she boasted.

Is Egypt Going To Be On Alicia Keys 'Keys To The Summer' Tour?

In the same interview, Keys confirmed that her son, Egypt would be heavily involved on the tour. Whether the budding musician would have her Blue Ivy moment onstage, we have to wait for!

"Last year about this time, he jumped onstage, and he put together a whole piano moment and it was really incredible. He was so not shy that I was just like, 'Who are you?' Because I'm shy!" she teased.
