Fans have been waiting for Madonna to perform her biggest hits at her "Celebration Tour" starting this July and since the musician is known for being a professional, she wanted to do her best when it comes to singing and even dancing.

However, it seems like the rehearsals for the series of concerts were one of the reasons why the pop star was found unresponsive and hospitalized as she reportedly pushed herself to her limits.

According to one of the musician's friends who spoke with Page Six, the "Material Girl" songstress is "the one constantly pushing herself."

The source close to the singer added that although Madonna has maintained a good relationship with the people she works with, many of them "are a fraction of her age and without her history of injuries."

The friend further explained that there are other acts older than the musician that are still performing on concerts and tours, but the big difference between them is they are not dancing or performing like the pop star does.

Madonna Rehearsing Too Much For 'Celebration Tour'?

In early reports, Madonna was "strentuously rehearsing" for her upcoming concerts for weeks prior to her being sent to the hospital after being found unresponsive.

The insider revealed that the musician would work around 12 hours every day at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island just to put on the work.

The news about the singer's hospitalization was confirmed by her manager, Guy Oseary, who took to his official Instagram account to reveal that the pop royalty developed a "serious bacterial infection" which led her to stay in the ICU.

Since the singer is still recovering, Oseary said all commitments, including her "Celebration Tour," would have to be paused and they will update the public regarding the new start date and rescheduled shows.

Madonna Health Update

In recent reports, Madonna has been discharged from the hospital and she went straight to her New York City home through a private ambulance.

According to a source who spoke with CNN, the songstress is "in the clear."

The insider further shared details of what was happening behind closed doors, saying the pop star is "resting, feeling better" and following the advice of medical professionals.

As of this writing, Madonna has yet to address the situation on her social media accounts.
