A video of Machine Gun Kelly punching a fan in the face mid-concert in Belgium has since gone viral.

Machine Gun Kelly smoothly completed his 2023 Rock Werchter festival set in Belgium on Saturday, but the concertgoers had the best night ever when he punched one fan in the face.

Machine Gun Kelly Punches a Fan in the Face

The Instagram video on the "Emo Girl" singer's account captured him reading a sign from a fan who wanted him to punch him in the face. The banner read, "I just came from Mexico 4 u 2 punch me in the face."

Machine Gun Kelly asked the audience member why he wanted to be punched by him so bad, and the hyped fan responded by telling him he loves him.

He contemplated the request and informed the fan he was wearing rings, making his punch definitely painful if he granted his wish. He then continued with his performance after telling the crowd he would consider it since it would be a "lose-lose" situation for him.

But when he performed his "My Ex's Best Friend," he got the fan's sign and showed it to the camera before lightly punching the fan in the face.

The audience member immediately turned on his fanboy mode after getting punched, and Machine Gun Kelly yelled "I love you!" as he resumed his set.

Musicians Getting Harassed on Stage

The fan's request from Machine Gun Kelly occurred amid musicians' concerns about their safety and security following what happened to Bebe Rexha, Ava Max, and Kelsea Ballerini.

For what it's worth, all three singers suffered different injuries due to fan-inflicted incidents. Bebe Rexha received stitches after sustaining an injury when a fan threw a phone at her during her show in New York City.

The following week, Max's Los Angeles show faced a similar fate when a fan slapped her on stage. On the other hand, Ballerini also got hit in the eye with a bracelet thrown by a concertgoer in Boise, Idaho.

Due to these incidents, other singers voiced their concerns and warned their own fandoms about such behaviors on their shows. Adele and Charlie Puth delivered messages regarding the throwing things trend, reminding everyone to be respectful of the performers.
