Fans were taken aback when Dua Lipa recently posted a mirror selfie from her bathroom.
Although the singer looked gorgeous in the image, it didn't take long for alert social media users to notice something risque lurking in the background of the photo.
Visible in the backdrop of the image, a foggy glass shower door presented what many followers thought to be handprints, according to the Mirror.
There were even speculations that the singer and her significant other, Romain Gavras, had made those imprints intentionally.
Speculation has been rampant since the mysterious marks were seen on the wall of the "Levitating" singer's bathroom in a selfie.

Shortly after posting her bathroom selfie, Dua Lipa's fans had lots to say on Twitter.
"Those shower marks," one wrote. Another asked, "What she was doing in the shower?"
A third person chimed in with, "Them handprints!"
People were intrigued by the potentially provocative details of the background.
"What is going on here?" one asked, taking a closer look at the marks. "Why did she have to leave her shower marks," another chimed in.
In response, a fan joked, "It doesn't seem like there was anything remotely pure happening inside that shower from what I can tell."
Following the recent selfie of Dua Lipa, a comment was made about the shower marks visible in it.
The comment read, "Anyone who noticed those shower marks in that picture should be added to some kind of watch list.

Back in March, Dua Lipa made her relationship with the 41-year-old Romain Gavras public.

On 4 July, Dua celebrated an anniversary with Romain Gavras, French director and former flame of Rita Ora.
Although the extent of their relationship is still unknown, her ex-boyfriend Anwar Hadid expressed a surprising response to learning about the singer's connection with Romain.
