The numbers are finally in, Lil Uzi Vert just scored their third Billboard 200 No. 1 album and "Pink Tape" officially becomes the first Rap Album of the year as he ultimately and successfully dethrones Morgan Wallen's "One Thing At A Time."

Multiple albums have tried to bump Wallen of the summit of the genre-blending charts, but Uzi joins a rare line of artists who kicked the country album out of the top.

Lil Uzi Vert Seals Rap Dominance With 'Pink Tape'

Debuting at No. 1, Lil Uzi Vert's "Pink Tape" racked up 167,000 equivalent album units, as per the numbers crunched by Luminate. Among the said units, 154,000 are attributed to streaming. It equaled 210.39 million official streams of the whole album.

To date, this is the largest streaming week in 2023 for any rap or R&B/HipHop track, Billboard reports. Meanwhile, Uzi sold 11,000 physical album sales and 2,000 track units.

It is a huge day for HipHop as this is the first time this year that a HipHop album launched on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Cypress Hill's "Black Sunday" was released on Aug. 7, 1993, and no rap album has debuted at the top prior to that. Notably, both albums featured colors in their name. Back then, Ice Cube's "The Predator" had a 34-week interval before a rap album ultimately took over.

The last time a Rap album hit the summit was Metro Boomin's "Heroes & Villains" which last saw the top on December 2022. Since Metro and Uzi's debut with a 29-week gap.

Since then, only six albums managed to cut through the gap - SZA's "SOS" for 10 weeks, Morgan Wallen's "One Thing At A Time" for 15 weeks, Karol G's "Mañana Será Bonito," Taylor Swift's "Midnights," TOMORROW X TOGETHER's "The Name Chapter: Temptation," and Stray Kids' "5-STAR."
