All but two members of the KPOP supergroup BTS have had their solo debut, which is why all eyes are on the remaining members V and Jungkook.

Unlike Jungkook who just released a new single, V has kept his music and information about the upcoming album under lock and key. No one knows what or when to expect new music from the KPOP star.

Recent updates, however, finally shed light on the highly anticipated debut: V is working alongside Min Heejin, a South Korean art director.

"I received an offer at the end of last year," Min said in an interview. "I hesitated at first due to the schedule, but I was intrigued by V's attitude and passion as well as his voice tone, which I wasn't familiar with."

BTS V's Newest Collaborator

Min is no stranger to KPOP idols, as she has worked alongside several groups throughout the years, but she has been linked to the girl group NewJeans recently.

"This time, I want [listeners] to focus on the music. We prepared music that reflects V's preferences while simultaneously is music that I want to recommend," she continued.

"Rather than a familiar style, we placed focus on music that we want to make and music that we can pull off well. We were terribly busy, but I think an interesting production emerged."

Prior to working with HYBE Labels, Min served as a creative director for SM Entertainment, working with groups such as EXO, Red Velvet, and more.

BTS Solo Debuts Almost Complete

As there is not a lot of information released about V's upcoming album, fans are eager to find out more about it, and based on what the KPOP star has said about it, they cannot wait for its release.

"I'm nervous but happy," said V, whose real name is Kim Taehyung. "It's an album that captures my tastes. There will be abundant spectacles. I prepared while thinking that ARMY will be happy, so I hope you can anticipate it. I think you will be able to see a new side of solo artist V that is different from BTS's V."

According to reports, V's debut album can be expected later this year, maybe in September, but as of this writing, his record label is yet to actually confirm nor deny the rumors.
