Since his wife Gwen Stefani and tour mate Carly Pearce have become close friends, it seems that Blake Shelton has been feeling a little left out.

An inside source reported to Radar Online that the two ladies found they had many similar interests and formed a strong bond while on tour with him.

"They hit it off," sources stated.

Since Carly's split with Riley King at the beginning of June, sources report that Gwen and she had grown very close.

The insider said the "Hollaback Girl" hitmaker has been there for her friend every step of the way, affirming that it's alright to be patient until the right guy comes along - just as Gwen had done herself.

Sources report that Blake, 47, would like to be included in the fun when Gwen, Carly and their friends go out together.

As one insider put it: "He's taken about all he can of them going off for girls' nights without him. There's a bit of envy there since Carly was his friend first."

Carly beamed with excitement when declaring her admiration for No Doubt's frontwoman, noting that both enjoyed the art of songwriting and were excited to collaborate.

Meanwhile, rumors have been circulating that Blake and Gwen's relationship has gone south since their recent wedding.

According to a source, "Gwen and Carly have been bonding over exciting adventures together such as a girls' camping trip and jamming nights - needless to say, it isn't sitting well with Blake."

As his friends watched, they noticed that between Blake's hectic schedule and trying to make sure his wife was content, it appeared as though this country singer was struggling with burnout.

"When those two first got together," a confidant revealed, "you could see that they were smitten with one another."
