Madonna is working on regaining her strength and ensuring she is healthy before officially starting her previously canceled "The Celebration" tour.

Due to the bacterial infection that left her hospitalized, Madonna had no choice but to cancel her highly anticipated "Celebration" tour to allow herself to recuperate. She recently confirmed that the new dates would be announced soon, but a source also revealed what the Queen of Pop does to prepare herself ahead of her tour.

Madonna "Fighting Back" After Her Collapse

A friend of Madonna recently revealed what the singer is up to while she is on the road to recovery. The unnamed source told The Sun they are a regular visitor at her Upper East Side home.

According to the pal, the "Back That Up To The Beat" hitmaker goes back to the gym and starts "intelligent strength and low-impact body work" while consuming healthy, plant-based food specially prepared by her vegan chef.

"Madonna actually shocked herself with her health issues," the pal said. "But she has had her trainers and nutritionists review her whole exercise and eating methods. She wants to be stronger and fitter than ever to face the years ahead."

The same source revealed that Madonna knew she could not run at the same pace compared to her capacity when she was in her 20s.

Among the musicians, the "Material Girl" hitmaker also started following Mick Jagger's ways as the rocker, who just turned 80, successfully tours despite his age.

When Is Madonna's 'Celebration' Tour Starting?

The source statement came after Madonna revealed in her Instagram Story that the new "Celebration" tour dates would be announced soon.

"Thank you again for your incredible support and patience over these past few weeks!" she said. "I'm happy to report that the re-routed tour schedule will be coming in the next few days!"

The "Frozen On Fire" crooner also said everyone would have their well-deserved "Celebration" tour, which will be launched to celebrate the 40th anniversary of her debut album of the same name, once she kicks it off.

While she has not confirmed the exact date yet, she revealed in July that she was eyeing to start her tour in October. For now, Madonna wants to focus on her health and become stronger again.
