Fans are excited to see Paramore perform their greatest hits live at their shows, but unfortunately, the group has decided to cancel the remainder of their concerts across the United States due to frontwoman Hayley William's current health condition; what happened to the singer?
According to SF Gate, the band has had a complicated last few weeks over the run of their "This Is Why" tour as they also postponed a few shows in the past.
Initially, Williams took to her official Instagram account to share a heartbreaking news about the future of their series of concerts, confirming that two of their last shows will be canceled.
The musician began by saying she and her bandmates just got off stage in Seattle and after delibirating with her doctor as well as her team, it was revealed that her lungs are not "healing quickly enough to keep up" to the point that "it got a litte scary" during a concert.

"We are going to have to cancel the last 2 shoes of the tour so I can get better, finally. I know some of you are camping in Portland already so I just wanted to get this out there."
The musician further apologized to her supporters for "all the chaos" and she wanted them to know that she did her best.

Paramore Confirms the Cancelation of 'This Is Why' Tour 2023
In a separate post shared on the band's official Instagram account, Williams further explained that she has "lung infection" and it already affected some of their tour dates in the past.
At first, she wanted to take a week off from performing and following a "strict medicine routine" in order for her to heal, but she had been doing everything to fight her infection.
Since she already consulted with her doctor, it's best for her to not push through their remaining shows as she's "risking long term damage" and she needed to pay attention to her body.
Elsewhere in the post, the band assured fans that refunds will be available at point of purchase.
