For many, attending your favorite artist's concerts is a luxury, which is why you spend a questionable amount of money, time, resources, and effort just to see them live.
In the case of one pregnant fan in Albany, New York, despite being pregnant, she wanted to see her favorite artist Pink, perform live. However, nature calls and she has to deliver her baby midway into the concert - so she rushed to the nearby hospital, walking.
Pink Fan Went Into Labor Mid-Concert
Pink is currently touring the country for her "Summer Carnival" tour. As she stopped by at Boston's Fenway Park, she attracted a lot of fans in nearby states and cities. Among those were Angela Mercer and her family from Albany, New York.
Despite being 31 weeks pregnant, she still went to see the Grammy-winning singer perform live. However, in the unluckiest of times, she started getting contractions as soon as they arrived at the concert. (via Entertainment Tonight)
She then placed a call to her doctor, informing her of such, and she was instructed eventually to head to the hospital because she was already in labor.
According to a press release by the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Mercer did the unthinkable just to arrive at the hospital as soon as possible.
"With all the traffic surrounding Fenway for the concert, Angela had trouble finding a ride to the hospital. She and her family decided the fastest way to get to Brigham and Women's was to walk - and so, decked out in their concert outfits, they made the trek to our hospital where Angela later delivered her son in the Brigham's NICU," they said.
After walking for a mile, Mercer successfully delivered her child, whose name was dedicated to Pink.

Pink Fan Named His Son After The Singer
According to Entertainment Tonight, Mercer named her son Aycen Hart - which was drawn from Pink's name - Alecia Beth Moore-Hart.
Pink carries her husband's family name, Hart, from motocross enthusiast Carey Hart. Their children also carry the same family name as Willow Sage Hart and Jameson Moon Hart.
Pink concerts have been riddled with all types of weirdness lately.
Notably, Pink was given a bag of human ashes onstage and a 6-pound wheel of Brie Cheese, which she later on received confusingly.
