BTS member Jungkook is no stranger to reigning over the Billboard and Spotify music charts, after all, he is part of one of the biggest KPOP groups in the world.

This time around, though, Jungkook is setting out on his own with his solo music, and it seems like he is on his way to surpassing any record previously set by any KPOP idol before him.

According to reports, Jungkook's new song "Seven" is currently tied with "Dynamite" by BTS for spending the most weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 music chart.

Both songs have spent four weeks on the chart, and despite not yet breaking BTS' record, Jungkook has set a new record for himself as a KPOP soloist whose music topped the Billboard Global 200 and the Global Excl. US charts.

On the other hand, Spotify also crowned Jungkook's "Seven" featuring Latto as the No. 1 song on the Global Spotify chart, with 8.2 million streams and counting.

Fans are going wild with excitement as they support the KPOP idol. Many congratulated him online and praised him and BTS' undeniable success.

"Jungkook the GOAT," a fan wrote.

"They are the industry," another added.

"A whole month at No.1! That's insane. Congratulations, Jungkook!"

Jungkook Goes Solo

"Seven" is Jungkook's first single as a solo artist. He released the song months after BTS announced their hiatus to give time for all the members to complete their mandatory military enlistment in South Korea.

"It's an addictive song that everyone can enjoy easily and comfortably," the KPOP star said of the song prior to its release.

Sure enough, the song is addictive, given that it has been streamed by fans millions and millions of times since its release.

"There aren't many songs that captivate me as soon as I hear it, but this one was incredibly good. I could already picture myself performing it on stage," he continued.

Jungkook Set Up for Success

According to reports, "Seven" was produced by Andrew Watt, a Grammy Award-winning music producer and composer. No wonder the song is a chart-topping hit.

To make the song a shoo-in as a certified hit, Jungkook invited Latto to collaborate on the song. "Latto's colors were blended well in 'Seven,' adding more charm to the song," the singer explained.
