BTS went on a hiatus late last year to accommodate all of its seven members' mandatory military enlistment in South Korea, and as of right now, some of the members are pursuing solo pursuits.

Fans are worried that BTS might not reunite after the hiatus for various reasons; may it be they enjoyed their solo music careers so much that they no longer want to be part of the group or for some other reason altogether.

However, this is not the case for BTS. The group's leader, RM, was insistent that the KPOP supergroup will be back by 2025.

"I definitely feel that... And what I'm thinking right now is, these days, when I'm doing my solo projects, is, this is just like a vacation to get back to where I was, which was BTS and ARMY," RM said.

BTS Members Go Solo-For Now

Since their hiatus, several BTS members have launched their solo careers, like Jimin with "Face," Jungkook with "Seven," and V with "Love Me Again."

While all seems great with their solo careers, and fans are definitely living for all the new music drops, many are worried that they might enjoy the solo projects too much.

RM understands the fans' worries, and explained how the solo projects are beneficial and important to all the members' growth as individuals and as artists.

"So, all the solo [work] is just a journey, but it is a very important journey for chapter two," RM explained. "It's a journey to get back home safe, eventually, when we get back and reunite together in 2025."

BTS to Reunite in 2025

It seems like BTS is here to stay, and despite the recognition and success they will receive and have received as solo artists, they will always fall back together as the beloved seven-membered group in KPOP.

"And I guess - no, I can bet that all the other members would feel the same. This is a greatness of love... When I face this kind of love, I feel like it's irresistible, and that's what makes me go through all those trials and hardships and s**t happening in life," RM continued.

As of this writing, two out of the seven members have already enlisted in the military, while Suga is gearing up for his enlistment soon. The remaining four members-RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook-have no enlistment announcements released.
