Earlier this week, Britney Spears has yet ruled over the headlines not because of her dancing videos or conservatorship issues, but because her husband, Sam Asghari has revealed that they are heading toward a divorce.
Meanwhile, Asghari claimed that Spears was physically violent against him, leading to him having bruises and a black eye.
Britney Spears Physically Assaulting Sam Asghari?
According to a TMZ report, Britney Spears went physical with her husband, Sam Asghari, earlier this year.
Sources revealed that Asghari "frequently complained" about Spears "getting physical with him" during their entire seven years of relationship.
"We're told there have been numerous fights where security has had to step in, but in one instance there was no security in sight," the source claimed.
On that particular occasion, Sam said that he was sleeping in bed when the "Gimme More" singer woke him up and began punching him. Asghari reportedly did not strike back at Spears but was left shocked because of his wife's physical attack.
Notably, the couple married on Jun. 9, 2023. However, the outlet also reported that even before the wedding, the couple already had some bumps in their relationship.
Entertainment Tonight was the first to report that Asghari was filing for divorce citing irreconcilable differences while TMZ was the first to announce their split.
"Britney and Sam have split. She's adamant she didn't cheat. The two haven't got along for a while and it finally came to an end after a major blowup," the source said.
Spears has not been doing well since the split, the source claimed.
"She has been denying any cheating allegations and going through a lot of emotions. She is hurt because the situation brings up old feelings for her. This is the last thing she needed, especially after her boys moved to Hawaii, being worried about the fires there, and so on."

Britney Spears Has Fascination For Knives
According to the same TMZ source, Asghari was "particularly concerned" because Spears had a "fascination with knives" as she had plenty all over the house, including her own bedroom.
However, a source close to Spears clarified that the embattled popstar needed it for protection as she was paranoid that someone was going to get her.
