Hozier released his third album, "Unreal Unearth," last Aug. 18, 2023, and just like his previous album, he's aiming for another Billboard 200 Top 1 debut.

However, there's an album that might get in the way of that - Travis Scott's "Utopia."

Hozier 'Unreal Unearth' Billboard 200

Although Hozier wasn't able to surpass the chart success of his 2014 smash "Take Me To Church," with his proceeding releases, the Irish singer has maintained a devoted fan base that was eager to hear what he had prepared for "Unreal Unearth."

His 2019 sophomore album, "Wasteland Baby," became his first chart-topping album on the Billboard 200. Meanwhile, his album lead single, "Eat Your Young," from his recently-released album, "Unreal Unearth," did not break through the Top 50 of the Hot 100, as it only managed to debut at No. 67.

According to Billboard, "Unreal Unearth" is his "biggest sounding" album to date, as it would immediately followed by a US tour, which would be held on larger venues, compared to his previous outings in the country.

However, the publication noted that ticket sales wouldn't actually help album units this time, as amended in July 2020, which would probably pose a huge problem for Hozier to surpass Utopia.

Hits Daily Double mid-week projections dictate that Hozier's "Unreal Unearth" would only debut at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, just under the "Barbie" soundtrack, J-Hope's "Jack In The Box," Morgan Wallen's "One Thing At A Time," and Travis Scott's "Utopia."

35,000 album sales comprised the album's overall 54,600 mid-week total units. "Utopia" is retaining the top spot with a 6-digit mark at 158,000 album equivalent units for its fourth week atop the chart.

Should "Utopia" maintain its lead until next week, it would officially be Travis Scott's longest stint at the top of the Billboard 200 charts, beating "Astroworld."

Hozier 'Unreal Unearth' UK Charts

Over to the United Kingdom, Hozier might finally score his first No. 1 album with "Unreal Unearth" as Midweek UK Official Chart prediction establishes a strong lead for the album.

Surprisingly, Hozier had a better performance on the Billboard 200 charts compared to the UK Charts. His debut album peaked only at No. 3 while "Wasteland Baby!" only hit No. 6 in 2019.

Should he manage to maintain his lead until the weekends, "Unreal Unearth" would be Hozier's first No. 1 album of his career in the United Kingdom.
