Olivia Rodrigo's upcoming album "GUTS" is the talk of the town, especially after she has released its first two singles "Vampire" and "Bad Idea Right?"

From what fans can gather, whatever happened between the release of her debut album "Sour" and the making of her sophomore album must have been big and life-changing because the singer's new songs are telling.

This was actually confirmed by Rodrigo during her interview with The New York Times, and in fact, she revealed that she felt pressured to keep up with the persona.

"I had such a desire to live and experience things and make mistakes and grow after SOUR came out, I kind of felt this pressure to be this girl that I thought everyone expected me to be," Rodrigo told the publication. "And I think because of that pressure, maybe I did things that maybe I shouldn't have - dated people that I shouldn't have."

Olivia Rodrigo's 'Bad Idea'

Since the release of "Sour," Rodrigo dated some men who may or may not have inspired some of the songs on her upcoming album.

One of which is Zack Bia, a music executive whom the pop-rock singer dated for several months.

According to reports, the two were inseparable for all the six months they were together. She attended his gigs while he cheered on her during her concerts.

They had a sizeable age gap which definitely raised some eyebrows during that time, but it was later revealed that they were just "casually dating."

After Bia, Rodrigo dated Adam Faze, a music producer. Unlike Bia, the singer's relationship with Faze seemed a lot more serious.

Page Six spotted the former couple going out on dates and even kissing in public-in broad daylight.

They also attended a red carpet together, and Rodrigo reportedly introduced him as her boyfriend.

Olivia Rodrigo's 'GUTS'

Elsewhere in her interview, Rodrigo also talked about "GUTS" and what it represents.

"['GUTS'] is about reckoning with thoise feelings and coming out of that disillusionment and realizing the core of who I am and what I want to be doing and who I want to be spending my time with."

"I've always tried to write about the emotions rather than this weird environment that I'm in," the singer went on.
