He did not disclose further details about the projects, but it followed the comment he shared with Fender when he sat for an interview with the brand for the limited-edition re-release of Tom DeLonge Signature Stratocaster.

"I still think we're writing our best songs," he said. "I think our album coming out is probably the best album we've ever made."

Blink-182's new album will be the band's first album release since the 2019, "Nine," and the 2022 single, "Edging."

His bandmates also previously teased fans on the band's new music.

Drummer Travis Barker said the project would be finished before Blink-182's upcoming tour in 2024, and DeLonge informed everyone that the album would include their most progressive music so far.

Tom DeLonge Reclaimed His Blink-182 Position

The members spent years performing with Matt Skiba - who replaced DeLonge when the guitarist left.

After the co-founder's return in 2022, Skiba reportedly started leading another band featuring members of AFI Randy Moore and Hunter Burgan, and Against Me! Atom Willard. Asian Man Records said the band, LEKTRON, officially debuted on May 30 with a two-single debut project.

The press release describes LEKTRON as a band that "draws influence from its members' respective projects as well as bands like Fugazi, Joy Division and Brainiac."
