Amid the issues and lawsuit that the band had been facing over the past few weeks after their performance in Malaysia, The 1975 delivered a very nostalgic performance at this year's Reading Festival for their loyal fans and even dedicated the entire show to Lewis Capaldi; what did they do at their concert?

According to NME, the Manchester-based band replaced Capaldi's set at the famed festival due to his health issues as well as mental health problems.

The 1975 (consisting of members Matty Healy, Ross MacDonald, George Daniel, and Adam Hann) also delivered a one-of-a-kind performance in honor of their debut self-titled album released a decade ago, complete with their iconic white rectangle background.

"Well, first of all can we have the loudest round of applause in our set for Mr Lewis Capaldi who couldn't make it tonight," frontman Healy told the audience members before playing the hit song "Chocolate."

Setlist.fm reported that the band performed for a total of 3 hours and 32 minutes featuring songs from their debut album and most of them were tracks that they haven't performed in years.

The songs included in their lineup were "M.O.N.E.Y.," "Settle Down," "The 1975 (debut album version)" "Talk!" and many more.

In addition to their special set, they also performed tracks from their recent albums.

The 1975 Self-Titled Album Anniversary

The latest performance comes almost a month after the band announced that they will re-issue their debut album with new versions of merchandise, vinyl records, CDs, and many more.

According to Uproxx, the band will drop a 2LP vinyl, priced at $45.98, featuring a whiote pressing along with the original tracklist. There would also be a cassette version, priced at $17.98, that has the same songs as the original one.

The 1975 Malaysia Lawsuit: Band's Lawyers Now Working on the Case

Earlier this month, it was revealed that the organizers of the Good Vibes Festival, Future Sound Asia, filed a lawsuit against The 1975 and demanded them to pay a whopping $2,643,741.09.

They noted that the reason why they doing this was because the festival was canceled due to Matty Healy's "indecent behavior" during the event where he questioned the anti-LGBTQIA+ laws of Malaysia and even kissed his bandmate, Ross MacDonald.

The organizer's legal team confirmed that the band's solicitor have already communicated with the lawyers and are now working on the case.
