Trace Cyrus, the son of Tish Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus, has been in the public eye since the 2000s as his famous family constantly appears in newspapers, articles, and photographs everywhere.
Despite his fame, the musician rarely made comments about his family, but he is now ready to open up about his true feelings during a question-and-answer session with his fans.
Taking to his official Instagram stories, the pop-punk singer candidly told his followers about how having famous family members impacted his personal career as he is also a singer like his father and sister, Miley Cyrus.

As reposted by Pop Crave on X (formerly known as Twitter), Trace clarified that he loves his family so much, but he believes that things would go differently in his career if he wasn't a part of a famous family.
"I think I'd be much more successful if I wasn't part of a famous family. People immediately want to judge me and discredit all my hard work because of who I'm related to, but that's so far from the truth," he explained.
The rocker further explained that he struck a record deal with a music label who didn't know who he was related to until after he signed the contract.
Trace Cyrus Girlfriend: Singer to Keep His Future Relationships Private
Elsewhere in his Q&A, as reported by Entertainment Tonight, the musician also dabbled in the topic of his romantic life and he noted that he will not publicize his future girlfriend.
"After having such public relationships in the past, I've decided any of my current or future relationships will be much more private," he said. (via People Magazine)
He added that when he started dating again, he wouldn't tell it to his fans.
It's worth noting that Trace Cyrus indeed had very public relationships in the past as he previously dated Demi Lovato and Brenda Song, both of which were former Disney stars.
Trace Cyrus' Mom Tish Cyrus Gets Married
The recent news comes a few weeks after Tish Cyrus tied the knot with "Prison Break" actor Dominic Purcell in a private and intimate wedding in California.
Aside from Miley, who served as her mom's maid of honor, Trace and his other sister Brandi were present at the event.
However, their other siblings, Noah, and Braison Cyrus, were noticeably absent. It was later found out that the two spent time hanging out at home and visiting a Walmart grocery store.
As of this writing, it's unclear why the two decided to not attend their mom's wedding day.
