Elvis Presley's popularity led to rumors bombarding his life, and one of the buzzes affected his daughter, Lisa Marie Presley.

Until her death, Lisa Marie did her best to continue her father's legacy and maintain his good reputation in the industry. But there was an instance where she felt very disturbed by a rumor about the late King of Pop.

Lisa Marie Presley "Disturbed" After Seeing a Rumor About Elvis Presley

In his recent interview, Elvis' longtime associate Steve Binder revealed that he received a call from Lisa Marie, who felt truly bothered and concerned about the rumor that her father was still alive. The buzz reportedly emerged while he was still married to Michael Jackson, and she wanted to address it but was advised not to do so.

"That's what they want you to do," Binder said. "Just let it happen and it'll eventually burn out.' Which it did."

Lisa Marie's interview with Larry King in 2003 poured more fuel to the fire as the public suggested that the conspiracy theories were true because of the way she answered one of the questions.

At that time, the interviewer asked if she ever felt communication and channeling with Elvis. Although she started to answer the query, she soon said she did not want to answer the question.

What The Rumors About Elvis Presley Still Alive Suggested

Multiple news outlets reported about the conspiracy theories that emerged days after Elvis' funeral. Per the buzz, the then 42-year-old singer did not die despite his doctors and the coroner's statements and confirmation.

The rumors included Elvis choosing to go hiding after faking his death because he was a member of "The Fraternity." There was also a theory highlighting the name "Aaron" on his gravestone though it was originally spelled "Aron," sparking rumors his family refused to put his real name on his grave because he was not actually dead.

However, it was soon debunked because Elvis himself changed its spelling when he was still alive.

"All of the evidence points to a death-the medical evidence, the eyewitness report," Patrick Lacy said, debunking the rumors. "To have him have faked his death would have required the silence and the services of literally hundreds if not thousands of people over the years."
