Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were one of the biggest couples in the late 2010s. Their eventual breakup and divorce have been one of the biggest entertainment breakups of the said era.
Now, Cyrus mustered the confidence to publicly talk about her divorce from Hemsworth, whose issue has since emerged when she released her song "Flowers."

In the latest upload on TikTok on her "Used To Be Young" series, Cyrus confessed to the video the moment she realized that things weren't working out between her and her ex-husband.
"I just want to slow down. I have to slow down because this is, like, actually serious," she said.
Unbeknownst to many, Cyrus decided to end her marriage to Hemsworth when she was about to perform on Glastonbury in 2019/
"Glastonbury was in June, which was when the decision had been made that me and Liam's commitment to being married just really came from, of course, a place of love first because we had been together for 10 years but also from a place of trauma and just trying to rebuild as quickly as we could," she added.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth tied the knot in 2018 in a private wedding in Nashville.
"The day of the show was the day that I had decided that it was no longer going to work in my life - to be in that relationship. So that was another moment where the work, the performance, the character came first," she continued to say. "And I guess that's why it's now so important to me for that to not be the case - that the human comes first."
Cyrus has also talked fondly about her romance with Hemsworth. In another video, she discussed why she believed "The Last Song" became a fan-favorite movie.
"I think one of the elements that made that movie feel so special was [that] it was watching two very young people fall in love with each other - which was happening in real-time and in real life," she shared. "So the chemistry was undeniable. And that was the beginning of a long, 10-year relationship."

Miley Cyrus 'Flowers' About Liam Hemsworth?
Many fans have pointed out that Miley Cyrus' "Flowers," was a direct answer to Bruno Mars' "When I Was Your Man," which Hemsworth was allegedly responsible for. (via Billboard)
Cyrus' alleged feud with actress Jennifer Lawrence was also unearthed shortly after the release of the song. Lawrence was romantically linked to Hemsworth during his relationship with Cyrus because of the "Hunger Games" film franchise.
