More details about Zach Bryan's arrest disclosed what happened during his recent ordeal in his home state of Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol took Bryan to custody after an encounter with the singer in the state after interfering with a traffic stop by going over the speed limit. They arrested him after refusing to give his home address and charged him with a misdemeanor but released him afterward.

What Happened to Zach Bryan?

NBC News obtained the official document from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol detailing the singer's arrest before he was taken into custody in Vinita.

Per the affidavit, Bryan reportedly left his vehicle and asked an officer why the stop was taking so long. It added that he ignored the police's demand for him to get back inside the car and told them "I'll go to jail. Let's do it," adding that his situation was one of the reasons why people do not like police officers.

Bryan is said to be "aggravated and argumentative" during the incident, the document revealed.

The news outlet detailed that Bryan's security was pulled over at 5:40 p.m. after going 78 mph in a 55 mph zone and 60 mph in a 35 mph zone. A dashcam footage shared by NBC News also recorded the moments when the singer was talking to an officer before entering a police vehicle.

Bryan was booked in Craig County jail and released on a $1,000 bond.

Zach Bryan Apologized Online After Arrest

On his official account on X, Bryan acknowledged the arrest and apologized after what happened.

"Emotions got the best of me and I was out of line in the things I said," part of his message read. "I support law enforcement as much as anyone can, I was just frustrated in the moment, it was unlike me and I apologize."

The 27-year-old "Something in the Orange" added that he prays they could move on from what happened and that he prays for everyone to know he is just trying his best despite his emotions making him act like a child.

Per Zach, he felt frustrated as he did not know if he had the right to refuse to give the police officer his address.

As he accepted his full responsibility for his behavior that he branded "childish," he pledged it will not happen again.
