Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have reportedly made a unique decision regarding their newborn's name.
Verified by The Blast, A$AP and Rihanna's newborn were named Riot Rose Mayers.
He entered the world on August 1 at 7:41 AM through Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, contrary to reports that he was born three days later.
Thais Aliabadi, Rihanna's OBGYN, was listed on the birth certificate of her child Riot. She is also the doctor who aided in the delivery of Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson's daughter True in 2018 and Kylie Jenner's kids Stormi and Aire Webster with Travis Scott.
His older brother, RZA Athelston, is already one month old, and his name is a tribute to the leader of the Wu-Tang Clan.
As for where Riot's moniker came from - that remains unknown.
The internet was abuzz when the news broke about Rihanna's latest baby being named Riot. Reacting to this news, one person wrote, "AND RIHANNA NAMED HER BABY RIOT?! Internet, please girl. stop," in disbelief.
Rihanna treated fans to an extra special surprise during her Super Bowl Halftime Show performance in February - she revealed she was pregnant with her second child.
Despite the bump in her belly, Rihanna didn't let that slow her down. After her stunning halftime show, the world was treated to glimpses of the expectant mother-to-be everywhere she went.
Although she and ASAP Rocky have two children together, the nuptials may be put on hold. Insiders shared that the rapper is ready to agree with whatever type of prenuptial agreement Rihanna desires; however, she's in no rush to walk down the aisle.
Both parents are still adapting to their new lives as a family of four.

The bond between the A-list couple has only flourished since the arrival of their daughter.
Speaking about it in a recent interview, Rihanna revealed just how strong their relationship now is.
"Having a child together has only strengthened our bond," she told British Vogue. "Both of us must agree, which has always been at the core of our friendship. Having a baby certainly changed things, however, it's only brought us closer together."
