Cardi B finally gave fans an update regarding her highly anticipated sophomore album, as well as an upcoming tour.

"You know what? I was indecisive but I was like, you know what? I should already start talking about the album because I'm going to be putting it out very soon," the "Bodak Yellow" rapper replied when asked about the new album.

The rapper has many reasons she is taking her time with the album. Earlier this year, she said that she had been very indecisive about which songs to put on the tracklist, and if they were good enough to make the cut.

She also explained why she is hesitant about touring, which is because of her young children.

"But it's like I have to watch it because I always feel like somebody watching me-it's going to come out when it's going to come out," she said with finality. "I can say that; it's not going to come out this year."

According to reports, Cardi B is releasing her sophomore album in 2024.

Cardi B Holds Back on Collabs

Cardi B is known for collaborating with some of the hip-hop industry's finest and biggest stars, but for her upcoming album, the "WAP" rapper admitted that she wants to put out a tracklist void of collaborators.

However, she also admitted that if she really had to, she would enlist the help of Lil Kim for a song.

"I really do want one," Cardi B finally admitted during her interview with Andy Cohen.

. "I'm going through the songs on my album right now... I want us to have such a great, undeniable song because I know people are going to judge it and be so harsh of it.

"So, I want to make sure it is the greatest song. But I would love, love, love to do a song with Lil Kim. I love her. And not because she's Lil Kim, but because she's such a nice person."
