During an interview with TMZ, former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight admitted that he doesn't care who shot him six times at a West Hollywood nightclub on the morning of Aug. 24, and doesn't think that it's even very important.

"I don't think that's really important, who pulled the trigger and who I seen pulled the trigger," Knight said during a phone interview with TMZ. "I think that I'm doing extremely well. I'm happy to be doing well and whatever happens, happens."

When asked how it was that he could have possibly walked out of the 1OAK nightclub after being shot six times by an unknown assailant, Knight recalled some advice given to him by his father, saying, "One thing my father always told me, 'No matter what it is, you never give up...you walk in one way, no matter what goes on, you leave the same way as a man.'"

"I was shot and I think it was important that I wanted to walk and make sure I get to the right place to patch some of these holes up," he added.

Knight was one of three people who were shot at West Hollywood's 1OAK nightclub early on Aug. 24 during a pre-VMA party thrown by Chris Brown. He refused to cooperate with the police investigation of the incident, and returned home after just three days of treatment at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

"It's gonna be some times when you might get a few shots," Knight said at the end of the interview, "but if you're able to survive those shots, you're supposed to make yourself stronger and be more positive and more aggressive of the people you wanna deal with, and that's the page I'm really on."
