It was the mispronunciation heard around the world ... Gwen Stefani uttering The Colbert Report's Stephen Colbert's last name as "Colbore" during the Primetime Emmy Awards last Monday night.

Since then, the No Doubt lead hasn't made a television interview appearance –– that is, until last night's episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers. Naturally, she couldn't NOT talk about it, right?

Well, while she did briefly touch on the subject, Stefani succeeded rather well at skimming past it very, very quickly.

Sitting down next to the former Saturday Night Live "Weekend Update" host, the singer joked, saying, "I don't think you messed up any names, did you?" in regards to Meyers hosting of the Emmy Awards. And while he didn't mispronounce any names that night, the Late Night host admits that he does so quite often. But we're thinking he was just being nice. After all, can't kick her while she's down.

The segment then drifted to the two talking about the difference between the VMAs and the Emmy awards, both of which Stefani attended. And while they both appear to be incredibly fun events, the VMAs apparently has a little bit more "something" ... you know, skin and booty.

Perhaps Meyers said it best when he joked, "Who you are wearing?" Answer: "Barely anything!"

For an added bonus, let's watch her flub Colbert's name one more time ... or however many times you want to replay it.

Afterwards, Stefani briefly discussed her new gig on the upcoming seventh season of NBC's The Voice, which premieres this coming Sept. 22.
