It's been almost a year since Takeoff passed away after he was shot in Texas, but fans and friends in the music industry still continues to honor his legacy to this day including one of his closest friends, Drake.

According to NME, the rapper went to Atlanta, Georgia, for his "It's All A Blur" Tour with 21 Savage. It is worth noting that the Takeoff grew up in the city, and it is one of the reasons why Drake made a big move during his show.

"The first time I came to Atlanta, was I hopped on the remix to the song called 'Versace...And I just wanted to say while I'm in here, rest in peace to my brother Takeoff," he told the crowd.

He added that the late musician was one of his first "brothers" out in the city.
