In light of her tumultuous divorce from Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner has sought solace by moving into the magnificent New York City abode of pop star Taylor Swift.
The 27-year-old and 33-year-old have become fast friends due to this newly established living arrangement, according to The Sun.
Sophie and Joe from the Jonas Brothers are headed to a divorce, and the chart megastar wants to lend her a helping hand. Having gone through her break-up prior, she is eager to offer consolation.
Back in 2008, Taylor and Joe had a relationship also.
On "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Taylor described how their split happened - a mere 25-second phone call was all it took to end things.
Before this offer from her former flame, Sophie had been living at the luxurious St Regis Hotel located south of Central Park.
No more than a day after Joe and Sophie announced their split, Taylor and Sophie were seen out for dinner.
On September 5, it was revealed that Joe Jonas initiated the divorce proceedings by filing papers in concordance with the couple's mutual agreement of an amicable split.
The dispute between Sophie and her soon-to-be ex-husband escalated when she revealed her plans to make the UK their full-time residence along with their two children. Soon, it became apparent that this would be a divisive issue for the pair.

Sophie Turner, known for her role as Sansa Stark in the fantasy series "Game of Thrones," has taken legal action against Joe by submitting a petition in New York to get back custody of her children.
In addition to this legal battle in New York, Florida, and the United Kingdom, courts are also involved.
Meanwhile, Joe's representative publicly reported that Joe had taken action to end his marriage with Sophie by filing for divorce in Florida. This was due to the relevant legal jurisdiction for the case.
It has since been revealed that Sophie was surprise about Joe's intentions to pursue a divorce.
On September 6, Sophie was presented with a court order that forbids her and her partner from relocating their children. This has been in effect for more than two weeks already.
