Drake just released his new album "For All The Dogs" but it appears that fans won't be hearing new music anytime soon as he revealed that he would take a break from the music industry because of his health; what happened to him?

The musician recently spoke with the "Table for One" show on SiriusXM's Sound 42 where he opened up about his health condition and that he needed to take break in order to focus on himself.

"I probably won't make music for a little bit," he declared.

"I'm gonna be real with you: I need to focus on my health, first and foremost... Nothing crazy, but just, like, you know, I want people to be healthy in life," he added. (via Page Six)

Drake then noted that he had been struggling with stomach problems for years and he will take a break for him to focus on his health and to get things right.

Regarding how long he will be gone from the music industry, the rapper told fans that he will be gone "for a little bit" but he's unsure until when. He just gave an estimation of "maybe a year."

Drake New Album

The recent revelation comes amid the release of his new album titled "For All the Dogs" which features over 23 songs.

One of which was his recent collaboration with his ex-girlfriend, SZA, as well as major musicians like Chief Keef, Bad Bunny, 21 Savage, J. Cole, and many more.

There were also speculations that one of the songs titled "Fear of Heights" might be a diss track for Rihanna.

XXL Mag reported that social media has been flooded with fans sharing their thoughts on the track that the rapper released which seemed to aim against the Fenty Beauty founder.

Drake did not directly name the singer, but there were lyrics that alluded to her liking, like refering to the woman in the song as "gyal" which is a Caribbean word for "girl" that Rihanna often uses on her songs.

As of this writing, Rihanna has yet to react on the matter.
