"I am at the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing," he wrote as he posted a photo of the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville where he and The Jonas performed yesterday.

Many felt that the Instagram story was a jab towards his family with his now-estranged wife, Sophie Turner. Since the report of their split hit social media, Joe has received backlash and criticisms, allegedly pointing toward his ego and wanting to control Sophie Turner.

The two issued a statement at the time finally confirming the news of their split.

"After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children," the statement read.

Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner Custody Battle

Shortly after, the two reportedly engaged in a bitter tug-of-war on who gets to take care of their children.

In a report, Sophie Turner's legal camp has alleged that Joe Jonas has wrongful retention of their children.

"The Father's retention of the children in the United States from England is therefore wrongful under the Hague Convention because the Father has retained the children from their habitual residence of England, in breach of the Mother's rights of custody to the children under English law, which the Mother was exercising at the time of the retention," Turner's lawyer alleged at the time.

Joe dismissed their claims. Earlier this week, the couple reached a temporary custody arrangement for their children.

"After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the U.S. and the UK. We look forward to being great co-parents," they said in a statement shared to Billboard.
