What Happened Between Megan Thee Stallion and 1501 Certified Entertainment?

The two parties have been fighting for years now and it all started when Megan Thee Stallion, whose real name is Megan Pete, claimed that the owner of 1501 Certified Entertainment, Carl Crawford, dubed a young artist into signing an "unconscionable" deal a few years back.

She further noted that when she went to another company, Roc Nation by Jay-Z, she finally got "real lawyers" who let her know what was going on with her initial deal.

1501 responded to the claims, denying everything, saying the owner helped Megan during the early days of her career and gave her "substantially more" than what she had as she was an unknown artist back then.
