Even if it would help her promote her impending memoir, Britney Spears has chosen not to participate in any television interviews. This, after all that she has written about Justin Timberlake and the fact that so many fans are raring to hear her speak and detail more of these allegations.

This just proves that she's not out for money nor fame by dropping all these bombshell allegations.

With released excerpts, the 41-year-old pop icon has already generated attention about her book "The Woman In Me," which is packed of explosive assertions. Spears typically prefers email exchanges over in-person interactions, and a recent interview with People was done over email.

There was rumor that Spears had been asked to go on 60 Minutes or in an exclusive interview with Oprah, but those opportunities have now been dismissed, according to TMZ.

According to reports, the pop star alone decided to forego a press trip. According to the website covering entertainment news, the singer does not want to be barraged with inquiries about her personal life. In excerpts from the book, which will be released on October 24, Britney made startling discoveries. After years of rumors, she finally acknowledged to having an affair with choreographer Wade Robson while still dating ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake.

The Sun reports that Britney acknowledged in her memoir that she had kissed Wade on a night out. We went to a Spanish bar one night while we were out, she wrote. We danced nonstop. That night, I slept with him. Additionally, Britney stated that, "with that one exception," she had been faithful to Justin for years.

The celebrity stated that after telling Justin about her kiss with Wade, they were able to overcome it and continue their relationship. The mother of two also revealed that she had an abortion when she was 19 years old, during her relationship with Justin. Spears said that although she wanted the child and 'dreamed of having a family' with Justin, who was also 19 at the time, he ultimately 'wasn't ready' for the duties of parenthood.

The singer recalled the incident as follows in an excerpt from People:

"It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn't a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I'd anticipated.

'He said we weren't ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young. I'm sure people will hate me for this, but I agreed not to have the baby.

'I don't know if that was the right decision. If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn't want to be a father."
